“Lovesick” 2023
This piece is of a girl striking down at the perspective of the viewer with a sword while covered in blood. I used all pencil for this artwork.
It was a very experimental piece. I just spun an “aesthetics” wheel I found online for an overall idea of what to draw since I had an art block, but this turned out to be one of my favorite works.
“Entertainment” 2023
This piece is of my first original character, also my persona, laying down on a giant radio. This was created using pencil.
My process for this drawing was quite experimental. I just added more and more to the drawing as I went on, eventually sticking with the theme of my hobbies.
“Euphoria” 2023
This piece is of a girl standing in the middle of the rain on a crosswalk with water floating up around her. This was made with pencil.
For this drawing, I wanted to capture the feeling of just having fun in the rain and not worrying about getting wet. This pose was inspired by an image I found on Pinterest and this was the energy that I got from it.
“Child of light” 2023
This piece is of a girl falling in the sky around creatures like butterflies, doves, manta rays, and jellyfish.
This artwork was inspired by the game Sky: Children of the Light. All the creatures are based on the ones in the game and I drew this because I really appreciate the designs and graphics of the game.
“Annihilation” 2023
This piece is of a cybernetic girl on a balcony with broken parts of robots scattered around, which was caused by her.
I wanted to try a cyberpunk style for this piece so it was more experimental.
“Creatures of the Sea” 2023
This piece is of a girl with the antennae of a sea angel beside a crystal whale and a lighthouse.
I found out about the creature through a video and thought it was a gorgeous creature, so I decided to implement it in my drawing. For the whale, I have seen artworks of sea creatures in crystal form and wanted to try it out for myself. The lighthouse was because it fit with the theme of an ocean so I decided to add it into the work.
“Spring” 2023
This piece is of a girl swinging from a swing on a tree above a ground covered in cherry blossom petals. There are also animals around her, furthering the imagery of springtime.
I made this piece because spring is one of my favorite seasons, especially when the cherry blossoms bloom. This piece is what I envision a blissful and fun time would be, playing happily in a field of flowers.
